  I'm very upset to be writing this review seeing as how my boyfriend and I have had many great meals at Cafe Maya.
  
  We went there with friends on Saturday night. The manager was told it was my birthday so the band came over and sang to me and gave me a sombrero. They never took it back so i figured it was a gift that they give to people celebrating birthdays. We were walking out of the restaurant when we saw one of the managers running after us. we turned to see what he needed and he said he needed the hat back because Cinco De Mayo was coming up soon and they didn't have that many. No problem! I gave him back the hat without an issue. He stood there after i handed him the hat, for some reason offended, and then proceeded to slam the hat back on my head and said " Here! You need this for your juicy taco!"
  
  I'm curious if sexual harassment is something that this manager does on a nightly basis to women.....needless to say i wont be going back there. Too bad....the food is really great!

  We were there from out of town for my nieces birthday. Her and her mom go there all the time. We tried to take her out for a drink for her birthday, she has a VALID non driver ID and they would not serve her because it says under 21 on it. Clearly you can tell by her DOB that she was old enough and it doesn't expire for a few years. We will never step foot in their again and neither will my aunt who spends a lot of money in there. Shame on you guys for ruining a girls birthday for absoutely NO reason.

  The best Mexican by far in the Hudson Valley. Food is great. Staff are attentive and hospitable. Owners Ruben and Louis are always there to make sure your time at Maya is great. Mariachis band on Friday and Saturday. Great bar. The house made Habanero sauce is a must if you like hot.. the best..flavorful and dangerous .. ask your waiter for it. Just go and enjoy.
